An annual service on springs, rollers, hinges, cables and balance. It is the cheapest thing you can do to avoid a door that fails in January.

What annual maintenance actually covers
Springs and cables inspected for wear and fatigue, rollers and hinges checked and lubricated, track alignment corrected, fixings tightened, and the door rebalanced so it holds position by hand at any height.
Then the safety side: photo eye alignment, auto reverse force settings, and the manual release. Annual maintenance is what we recommend for a door in normal domestic use.

Why January is when doors fail
Steel contracts in the cold, grease stiffens, and a spring that was already near the end of its cycle life picks that morning to go. A door that was merely noisy in October becomes a door that will not open when it is fifteen degrees out.
A tune up in the autumn is not a superstition. It is the point in the year when a small adjustment is still a small adjustment.

Maintenance plans
We offer maintenance plans, and regular maintenance genuinely does help you avoid expensive breakdowns and prolongs the life of the door. For a commercial building with doors cycling all day, the interval is shorter than annual and we will tell you what it should be.
