The door your customers actually touch
A storefront entry is the highest cycle door on most retail and hospitality buildings and it is the first physical thing a customer handles. A closer that slams or a lock that has to be fought with is a bad first impression repeated every day.
Aluminium storefront systems are repairable in place. Pivots, closers, thresholds, weatherstripping and locksets are all serviceable items rather than reasons to replace the whole frontage.

Bi fold openings
A bi fold opening lets a bar, restaurant or showroom open a whole elevation to the street in good weather and close it up properly in bad. The appeal is obvious and so is the failure mode if the track and the rollers are not right.
These carry real weight across a wide span, so the head detail and the structure above it have to be confirmed before anything is ordered.

Closer force, opening pressure, threshold height and lever style all matter on a public entrance, and requirements come from your local authority and the applicable accessibility code for your building.
