Separation
Strip doors
PVC strip curtains for temperature separation and dust control, on openings that traffic has to pass through constantly.
Chapter 01
The cheapest separation you can buy
Where an opening has to stay passable all day but you still want to hold a temperature difference or keep dust on one side, a strip curtain does most of the work of a door for a fraction of the cost, and needs no power and no controls.
They are common between warehouses and cold stores, around spray and dust producing processes, and on internal openings that fork trucks run through constantly.

Overlap and grade are the whole specification
Strip width, thickness and overlap are what decide whether a curtain actually seals. Too little overlap and it is decoration. Too much and traffic fights it and the strips get torn off the header.
Cold store applications need a low temperature grade that stays flexible in the freezer rather than going stiff and cracking. Welding areas need a tinted grade. Standard clear PVC is wrong for both.
Chapter 03
Fitted so a damaged strip is a two minute fix
Mounted on a proper header with individually removable strips, so a strip damaged by a fork truck can be pulled and replaced without taking the curtain down.
We will size the header to the real opening and set the bottom clearance to suit the floor, which is usually less level than the drawing suggests.
